COURSE OVERVIEW
Within the country, the animation industry is thriving, and there is a huge potential for animation professionals. This 12 Months Diploma programme is designed to prepare graduates for careers in animation in the fields of Digital film, video games, television and online production.
As a student, you will have the opportunity to bring characters and stories to life. You will create a variety of 2D and 3D animations concepts using your creative abilities with drawing, animation, and production techniques, as well as your strong storytelling abilities.
The production pipeline and the ability to take an animation project from concept to completion (Pre-production to Post-Production) are critical components of this programme. You will work in collaborative learning environments and create work for your portfolio. The program’s skills prepare you for direct entry into the animation industry.

INDUSTRY EXPOSURE

Through internship programmes, Students will gain experience working on “Real Time Projects.” Students have the opportunity to work on a variety of “Ongoing Projects.” Thus, by exposing students to real-world production scenarios and workflows, they will be better prepared to develop a high-quality portfolio and advance in their careers.

COURSE WORKFLOW
Pre Production
Story Ideation, Storyboarding , Human Anatomy Study , Landscaping , Perspective Drawing, Asset designing - all these are a very important element of game development and animation film making ,hence students are introduced to classical hand-drawing techniques. Also, the experimental animation and stop motion animation techniques are covered in the curriculum.
Production
Animation softwares makes students well equipped in digital films and game designing , the software training takes students through the entire production process including character modeling, texturing, animating, rendering, lighting and 3d fx.
Post Production
The post-production process includes Compositing & Editing. Students get an in-depth training into techniques like compositing, match-moving, matte painting & editing towards the completion of the entire production process.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES
Understanding
Develop an understanding of the fundamentals of a 3D pipeline in order to gain insight into the various areas of production.
Application
In our Pre-visualization class, you’ll apply your storytelling skills while expanding your knowledge of the craft.
Specialization
Concentrate on your specialized streams: Modeling, Animation, Lighting & Texturing, Visual effects & compositing for Digital Film Making or Gaming while planning your final reel in pre-production classes.
Demo Reel
Enter the program’s studio component and begin work on your demo reel alongside industry mentors who will guide you to completion.
Refine
As you iterate and refine your shots, collaborate with faculty and become involved in the production process. Individual feedback and regular group reviews contribute to the authenticity of the studio experience.
Project
Light, render, and composite as you finalise your project for introduction to local and global industry.
